Richard Klautsch    

Richard Klautsch, Professor and department chair (PhD, Wayne State University).  In addition to his responsibilities at Boise State, Richard has been a principal actor with the Idaho Shakespeare Festival for twelve years.  He has also performed off-Broadway and at various regional theatres, most recently with the Boise Contemporary Theater in The Underpants and in Julius Caesar at the Great Lakes Theatre Festival in Cleveland.  He is president-elect of the Boise State chapter of Phi Kappa Phi, the national honorary society, and he serves as a national accreditation evaluator for the National Association of Schools of Theatre.  In 2002, he received the College of Arts and Sciences faculty award for Outstanding Creative Activity.
