Leslie Atkins Durham

Assistant Professor (PhD, University of Kansas).
Leslie joined the Theatre Arts Department after completing her doctoral studies in 2001.  She is currently working on preparing her dissertation, Staging Gertrude Stein, for publication. Leslie served for two years as an assistant editor for the Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism, for which she later published two articles. She has also written for Text and Presentation: Journal of the Comparative Drama Conference.  Leslie has been extremely active this past year delivering papers at numerous conferences across the country.  She presented her research at the Association for Theatre in Higher Education conference in New York and last year delivered papers in Phoenix and Philadelphia.  In the spring of 2003, Leslie received a prestigious Faculty Research Assistance Program grant from the Boise State University College of Arts and Sciences.  Leslie also serves as the Theory and Criticism conference planner for ATHE. ldurham@boisestate.edu
